About Mia
Welcome — I’m Mia.
I’ve always believed that yoga finds you when you need it most, and I can genuinely vouch for that. For years I dipped in and out of classes, and it often felt like just another form of exercise — helpful, but not something that reached me deeply.
Everything shifted after a long period of struggling with my own mental health, and becoming a new mum during a global pandemic. In the middle of that overwhelm, I felt a strong pull to return to yoga. That’s when something clicked.
Yoga became a space to reconnect with myself. It helped me slow down enough to hear my breath again, to understand my nervous system, and to feel present in my own body. It has given me tools to navigate this challenging world and the obstacles it throws with more steadiness, compassion, and awareness.
I’m incredibly passionate about the positive impact yoga can have on mental health. Through Mia Yoga Collective, I want to create a safe, supported space where people can move, breathe, and learn practices that help them feel grounded — whether they’re seeking calm, strength, or simply a moment to come home to themselves.
